Location - Town / City Limpopo (remote pending office in Polokwane)Purpose of the Job:The key purpose of this role is to provide professional financial services to a client or a member.
The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, retaining, and growing a membership and client base for eligible professionals by implementing PPS financial solutions in line with the client's needs.Scope of the Job:This is a commission-based role of financial solutioning, advice and sales in risk insurance (ideally 70% focus), savings and investments as well as wills, tax and estate planning.
We are looking for experienced financial advisers who are familiar with servicing post-graduate degreed professionals that are PPS' niche market - those holding 4-year or higher qualifications.
This is a role of own lead generation.We offer a competitive risk commission structure with splits ranging from 55% to 110%, implying plenty of opportunity for performance-linked mobility.Formal Qualifications:Matric (Grade 12)Relevant commercial/legal/industry specific NQF L6 tertiary qualification is the preferable minimumNQF L7 and higher qualification is highly advantageousRE 5 completedSuccessful completion of supervisory processFAIS fit and properPostgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning advantageousCFP advantageousExperience and Knowledge:2 years' experience in the Financial Services industry in a Sales role within the risk and investment spaces2 years' experience in Financial PlanningKnowledge and understanding of the dynamics of the professional client marketExperience and track record in high-performance sales environmentsKnowledge of best practice in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory ServicesKnowledge and understanding of financial planning through meaningful client engagementsExperience prospecting for clientsComputer Literacy:Proficient in MS OfficeExperience using a CRM systemExperience using financial planning softwareInterpersonal and Intrapersonal Skills:Strong sales, interpersonal and business-orientated person with the acumen to build client relationshipsA passion for the financial planning environmentRelationship management and networking skillsAble to plan and manage time effectivelyAnalytical and numerical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret statistical informationImpeccable work ethicAble to work independentlyStrong communicationHigh attention to detailTeam-orientatedSelf-motivated and highly drivenResilience and tenacityKey Responsibilities:Providing suitable advice to best fit the needs and requirements of professionalsPreparing and presenting proposals to existing and potential clients using state-of-the-art financial planning toolsMeeting clients to understand their financial objectivesExplaining complex information relating to Financial Advisory in a clear and effortless wayManaging, maintaining and building new and existing client relationshipsGrowing a client book within the first 24 months and consistently thereafterAdhering to compliance, operational procedures and practice management standardsStaying abreast of product information, performance and industry changesBuilding a professional network and sustainable business within the professional marketThis is a fully remote tied agent role pending a provincial office-base.The individual must have a valid driver's license and their own reliable vehicle or access to one.The individual must have clear credit and criminal records - provide 24-months commission statements and SAPS clearance certificate or letters of payment arrangements/recent proof of payments if the record is minorly adverse.The individual must be FAIS fit, proper and accredited - obtained RE5 within 2 years of DOFA and obtained FAIS recognised NQF level 5 or higher qualification specific certification within 6 years of DOFA.PPS has in place a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
