Job Description: Financial Advisor The Financial Advisor is responsible for conducting comprehensive financial needs analyses focused on life and investment planning. This role involves utilizing extensive expertise to provide tailored financial advice to clients, with an emphasis on expanding the client base through proactive prospecting and networking. Key Responsibilities: Sales Opportunities Creation: Develop a personal network within the assigned sales territory and represent the organization at industry events to identify new sales opportunities. Foster referrals and recommendations from existing clients to enhance the organization's reputation. Customer Needs Clarification: Consult with clients at various levels to identify their specific needs and desired outcomes. Conduct thorough financial needs analyses and client portfolio assessments to provide informed financial advice. Sell Customer Propositions: Recommend products or services that align with clients' needs, effectively communicating the benefits and inviting them to make purchases under standard terms and conditions. Customer Onboarding: Guide clients through advanced features of products or services, connecting those features with their specific pain points to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Performance Management: Actively pursue personal objectives and utilize performance management systems to enhance individual performance. Customer Relationships Development: Implement a comprehensive customer contact plan to engage clients in relevant sales campaigns. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries, resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction. Client Document Management: Ensure compliance with company-wide document management systems and maintain organized client records. Operational Compliance: Understand and adhere to the organization's policies and relevant regulatory standards to ensure compliance in all actions. Personal Capability Building: Engage in continuous professional development through training, assessment activities, and maintaining relevant external accreditations. Qualifications: A minimum of Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent, along with 120 FAIS credits (NQF 5) in Wealth Management. RE5 certification is essential, while additional qualifications such as CFP or equivalent are advantageous. A minimum of two years' experience as a financial advisor within the financial services industry, particularly with affluent clients in life and investment products.
