It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover, and personal accident plans. SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group, focusing on retail products and group schemes. What will you do? Provide financial advice along with a financial plan in line with the customer value proposition and treating customers fairly framework. Work in allocated key accounts and allocated markets. Offer customer service to Sanlam clients. Arrange appointments with potential customers within Key Accounts and Allocated Markets. Update and inform customers and the public about our new products. Develop and maintain an understanding of the range of Sanlam products and keep up to date with any changes in products or regulations. Ensure Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits, accreditations, and qualifications are up to date. Participate in knowledge-sharing platforms and training opportunities where relevant. Report daily on activities using relevant technology platforms. Collate data on activities for weekly and monthly reporting deadlines. Work with the Sales Manager to identify priority areas and plan monthly activities accordingly. What will make you successful in this role? Assist in growing the Sanlam Adviser Business Commit to the marketing plans and targets set for growing and developing the business. Apply knowledge of market segmentation and customer profiles to support sales and growth. Undertake relevant behaviors to attain targets relating to: revenue generation, activity quotas, promoting the Sanlam brand, and treating customers fairly. Networking, prospecting, and lead generation Create business opportunities through face-to-face interactions. Prospect new clients through creative opportunities. Strengthen existing relationships by increasing current service. Utilize existing sources to establish opportunities across Sanlam businesses. Implement focused campaigns with new or existing clients. Client consultations and sales Ensure all client interactions are compliant with disclosures and advice given. Conduct comprehensive fact-finding with each client. Provide sound personal financial planning advice and present financial solutions professionally. Client Service Ensure all client interactions are ethical, courteous, and professional. Strive for excellent, value-added service to clients. Monitor, update, and reporting (weekly/monthly) Document and present activities related to contacts, appointments, and issued business.
