Job detailsHere's how the job details align with your profile.Job typeFull-timeLocationFull job descriptionEmpowering Africa's tomorrow, together…one story at a time.With over 100 years of rich history and strongly positioned as a local bank with regional and international expertise, a career with our family offers the opportunity to be part of this exciting growth journey, to reset our future and shape our destiny as a proudly African group.Job Summary: Provide specialist advice and support for day-to-day work, in order to execute predefined objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).Job Description:Stakeholder Management: Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners, and other Absa entities.Sales Target: Proactively make self-initiated contact with customers in order to deliver against the required sales targets.Customer Engagement: Do activity planning by identifying the clients to be contacted during a particular period.Compliance and Risk Management: Fulfill all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.Manage own broker practice: Ensure that staff members (Broker Assistants and Interns as relevant) have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities within the practice.FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements Applicable to this Role (Advice and Intermediary Service):FSCA-Approved QualificationRegulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)Experience As Per the FAIS ActProduct Specific Training once OnboardedClass Of Business TrainingContinuous Professional DevelopmentAttest To Honesty, Integrity, and Good StandingEducation: Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)Absa Bank Limited is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer.
