The Financial Administrator that joins Click will have the opportunity to make a social impact while gaining exposure to multiple facets of a large and growing business. The Financial Administrator is responsible for the preparation, development, and analysis of financial information. The Financial Administrator will maintain the accounting system in accordance with standard operating procedures and internal controls of the organisation.
Responsibilities include cloud-based bookkeeping, VAT, reconciliations, budgets, reporting, and financial administration. The Financial Administrator will work closely with the Financial Accountant to prepare various reports for internal and external stakeholders and ensure continuous improvement to the financial processes in line with best practices. Together with the Financial Accountant, the goal is to build capacity in the finance department leveraging technology and cloud-based solutions to streamline processes for the operational teams and provide quality and timely financial information to the leadership team to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesGenerate invoices and billing statementsTrack accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding paymentsMaintain accurate records of customer transactionsAllocate cash transactions between banking platform and accounting system on a daily basisPreparation of s18A certificatesGenerate Request for Donations when applicableInvoicing to Funders and Schools when required and weekly debtors managementLiaise with various departments to obtain financial information for accounting and financial management purposesBanking administrationRecord and categorise all expenses accuratelyVerify and post purchase transactionsMonitor and reconcile accounts payableMaintain records of vendor contracts and agreementsProcess purchase orders on a timely basisManage and close purchase orders on a timely basisProcess vendor invoices on a timely basisProcess payments according to payment termsPerform monthly bank reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial analysis reports for management purposesPrepare monthly management accounts (profit and loss & balance sheet including relevant commentary)Prepare, maintain and reconcile all supporting financial schedules and reconciliationAssisting with audit deliverables during annual external auditAssist Financial Accountant and Financial Manager with quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reporting (budgets, re-forecasts, Exco and Board Reporting, etc)Assist FA and FM with weekly cash flow forecastingClosing out ad hoc requests and open itemsAssist FA and FM with strategic and other projectsAssist FA and FM in process improvement and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained and updated on a regular basis for SOPs and System Descriptions for significant classes of transactions and balancesQualifications and Work ExperienceBCom Accounting or similar qualificationMinimum 1-2 years accounting experience in a medium to large sized businessXero proficiency is non-negotiableExperience working with project management tools like Asana and communication tools like Slack is beneficialStrong sense of accuracy and efficiencyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalPersonal AttributesStrongly detail oriented and deadline drivenCritical and solution driven thinkerAgile and adaptable to change in circumstancesProactive self-starter who can take initiative and work independently whilst taking full responsibility for their portfolioPerforms well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentCollaborative and strives to work towards a common team goalStrong time management and prioritisation skillsPackageR18,000 – R22,000 monthlyTotal Cost to Company (Annual CTC: R216,000 - R264,000)Includes 5% Pension Fund Contribution - EmployerIncludes Death and Disability Cover - EmployerVoIP for business callsLTE Data for workAnnual leave: 20 daysFull Covid-19 Vaccination StatusTo apply send CV and a short covering letter outlining your suitability for the position to ******
