Financial Accountant - Statutory

My client is seeking a dedicated Statutory Accountant to join their dynamic global engineering team.

This role allows you to travel to various African countries on a monthly basis. Duties:Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory accounts in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).Ensure all financial statements and regulatory reports are accurate and timely.Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual audit process.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure adherence to all legal and financial reporting requirements.Perform detailed financial analysis to support key business decisions.Work closely with finance, tax, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of statutory accounting processes. Education and Experience:CA(SA)Newly qualified - 2 years of experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP regulations.
