Main job function Perform ledger account and bank reconciliations.Perform monthly review of the Trial Balance and processing of outstanding transactions.Processing of payments on online banking platforms.Process debit order collections on online banking platformsProcessing of all expenditure transactions in the accounting system.Keep all supplier, procurement and CSD records up to date.Processing of monthly journals for income statement and balance sheet items.Process all transactions for Fixed Assets – record updates, monthly journals and prepare monthly reconciliations.Perform annual fixed assets internal verification counts.Prepare creditor reconciliations and monthly creditors age analysis.Assist with preparation of management accounts and annual budget process.Attend to regulatory and compliance audits requests.Responsible for annual BBBEE certification process.Prepare debtors management reports for students, members and customers, when required.Communication with all relevant stakeholders.Support the finance manager as requested.Qualifications Bcom Accounting OR DiplomaCriteria At least 3 years accounting experienceCompleted SAICA / SAIPA articlesAttention to detailAbility to plan and organizeAbility to use own initiativeAct in a responsible manner at all timesAbility to work without supervisionAbility to work independently or as part of a teamGood interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate at all levels with tact and diplomacyHigh level of work ethic and integrityStrong customer service ethicSalary R450'000 CTC
