Purpose of Role: The primary purpose of the financial accountant is to manage and analyze the organization's financial position, playing a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information essential for informed business decisions.
Reports To: Financial Manager
Responsibilities: Uploading payments to FNB and ABSA bankProcessing bank payments in XeroReconciling bank accounts to bank statementsProcessing credit card receipts in XeroReconciling credit card accounts to credit card statementsPreparing and distributing credit card reconciliations to respective users and line managersUpdating cash flow statementsManaging the company Uber accountBilling the Uber account in XeroBilling rental invoicesReconciling creditors statementsDistributing budget vs actuals to usersLiaising with schools and providing variancesQualifications and Criteria: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and criteria: Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Financial Accounting3 years experience in Financial AccountingExperience in Xero accountingFNB and ABSA administration and payment processing, including creating and maintaining beneficiariesCIMA/Recent CA(SA) registrationCompetencies: Customer orientationAnalysis/problem solvingQuick thinking/learningTeamworkCommunicationValues: Service, Persistence, Achievement, Responsibility, Kindness
