Job Title: Financial Reporting SpecialistResponsible for accurate financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis for group companies. This includes compiling financial statements, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, preparation of tax and VAT returns, engaging with auditors and providing support during interim and final audits, analysis of financial information and assistance on various projects as directed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for financial reporting including:Preparation and presentation of balance sheet reconciliations and other financial reconciliations for group companies.Preparation of deliverables required for the interim and annual internal and external audits.Submission and completion of annual financial statements and statutory returns to SARS for the group.Preparation and presentation of monthly balance sheet management pack to management.Preparing schedules and financial information analysis required.Preparation of annual financial statements for group companies using CaseWare.General:Support and assistance with team projects and initiatives.Stock taking procedures when required.Participation in team events.Desired Experience & QualificationQualifications and Experience Required:Matric.Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position.Understanding of audit techniques.Ability to analyze and spot problems in working processes.Knowledge of banking platforms.Excel experience.CaseWare experience required.Accounting software experience.Sound knowledge of Income Tax and VAT Act.Sound knowledge of IFRS and accounting reporting standards.Behaviour and Competencies Required:Professional.Time management.Logical approach.Consistent.Motivated.Uses initiative.Accuracy.Analytical.Problem solving.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Team player.Package & RemunerationRemuneration: A market-related package including benefits.Interested?Kindly click on the link below to apply.NB: Thank you for choosing Talksure as your employer of choice.
