Financial Accountant -Kzn

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze revenue transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with Accounting Standards
Prepare and record revenue entries in accordance with established policies and procedures
Perform monthly revenue reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports related to revenue
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition
Assist with revenue forecasting and budgeting processes
Stay current on revenue recognition standards and changes in accounting regulations
Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree / National Diploma in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification is a plus
2+ years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field
Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
