Inspired by its strategy of Profit with Purpose, LeapFrog has raised over US$2bn from global institutional investors and has been ranked twice by Fortune as one of the top five Companies to Change the World.www.LeapFroginvest.comFinancial Accountant Role DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts for 12 entities.Variance Analysis: Review monthly income statements, identify significant variances, and understand major deviations from budget or prior year spending.Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.Additional Responsibilities:Supplier Invoice Management: Ensure timely recording and payment of supplier invoices according to the established payment process.Invoice Generation: Create and manage invoices.Expense Report Review: Ensure accuracy and timely approval of Expensify reports.Employee Reimbursements: Process and pay employee reimbursements promptly.Audit Support: Assist with audit requests and the preparation of financial statements.Ad-Hoc Requests: Provide support for various ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.Qualifications and Experience:Education: BCom Accounting degree (mandatory).Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role.Skills:Proficiency in Excel.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
