Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, conducting internal audits, and driving financial performance across the organization. As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following: Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts with a keen eye for detail. Assist with month-end audit files, ensuring smooth financial close processes. Analyze financial data to uncover trends and insights that inform decision-making. Calculate and prepare accurate VAT returns to ensure compliance. Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports for internal stakeholders. Generate financial reports covering budgets, accounts payable, receivables, and expenses. Review, monitor, and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met. Perform monthly reconciliations and calculations with precision. Process journal entries in a timely manner to maintain accurate records. Calculate annual rate and refuse escalations to ensure up-to-date financial data. Job Experience and Skills Required: Relevant BCom/Diploma or financial qualification preferred Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles Experience in property finance Proficiency in MS Excel Familiarity with MDA/MRI Property Management Software
