Financial Accountant

Job & Company Descriptions:A property company is currently looking for an Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
The purpose of this role is to gather and monitor financial data, prepare accurate statements, forecast costs and revenues, and conduct internal audits. As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the following:Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Assist with and prepare month-end audit files.Analyze accounts and financial data to identify trends.Calculate and prepare VAT returns.Prepare monthly management reports.Produce financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses.Review, monitor, and manage budgets.Prepare month-end calculations and reconciliations.Process journal entries.Perform annual calculations for rate and refuse escalations.Job Experience and Skills Required:Completed Bcom in FinanceCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles3 years experienceExperience in property financeProficiency in MS ExcelFamiliarity with MDA/MRI Property Management Software
