A up and coming retail company is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team and contribute to their continued growth and success.
Location: Cape Town Key Responsibilities: Perform the companys financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial data.
Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation, analysis, and review with senior management.
Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all required tax returns.
Minimum Requirements: BCom qualification (essential).
1 year of experience Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
