Financial Accountant

A leading South African construction and development company is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Financial Accountant to permanently join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a CA(SA) , with a strong foundation in financial management, to manage the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations . Duties: Take full responsibility for the finance function, including managing the general ledger, month-end close, and preparing accurate financial statements. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Monitor and reconcile bank accounts and ensure proper management of company funds. Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Assist with audit preparation and provide support to auditors during the annual audit process. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with financial controls, company policies, and relevant legislation. Qualifications & Skills: A CA(SA) qualification. At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in a financial accounting role. Advantageous: Experience in a product-based or manufacturing environment.
