Financial Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our client, a leading player in the gaming industry. Based in Johannesburg North, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to the financial management of a dynamic and fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will have a BCom Degree with completed articles, strong expertise in tax, a comprehensive understanding of the full financial function, and experience in monthly reporting and the preparation of annual financial statements. Duties: Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial activities, including financial transactions, reconciliations, and accounting records.Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure that all financial data is accurately captured and reported.Prepare and review annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and other relevant accounting standards.Manage tax-related matters, including VAT, PAYE, and corporate tax returns. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and optimize tax efficiency. Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:BCom Accounting Degree.SAICA/SAIPA articles is beneficial.Experience:A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.Knowledge of the gaming/gambling industry is preferred.
