Job & Company DescriptionsA leading South African provider of automotive glass has a permanent position available for a highly motivated Financial Accountant (CA(SA)) who will be responsible for the management of financial accounting activities within the group. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage the accounting functions related to stock and products in a commercial environment. Duties:Prepare and review accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and group reporting requirements.Maintain and manage financial records, including journal entries and accounts.Oversee the accounting functions related to stock, inventory management, and product costing.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis for decision-making.Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.Monitor cash flows, manage working capital, and optimize financial performance.Provide support for audits and ensure the implementation of effective internal controls.Drive process improvements and automation within the accounting function. Qualifications & skills:Qualified CA(SA)At least 2 years post-qualification commercial experience.Strong understanding of inventory management, stock accounting, and product costing.Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards (IFRS).
