Financial Accountant

This organization, located in the eastern region of Johannesburg, is actively seeking an established Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will analyse and review forecasts and budgets against actual results, ensuring accuracy in the budgeting system. Responsibilities include completing and reconciling monthly accruals, provisions, journals, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules, while resolving discrepancies. The candidate will assist in budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance with accounting standards, liaise with external auditors, and conduct analytical reviews of financial reports. Additionally, they will maintain current accounting policies and support ad hoc accounting and reconciliation tasks, contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.
