Financial Accountant

Skill Farm Experts Are Invited to Apply for the Following Role:Responsibilities:Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and prevent wastage.Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships that enable achievement of operational objectives.Provide sound services and recommendations based on customer and client needs, current information and trends.Adhere to financial reporting guidelines set out by First Rand.Approve payments and prepare reconciliations.Execute relevant projects and initiatives in line with strategic objectives.Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions of the business unit.Provide accounting information to support business performance.Support availability of financial decision-making information by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial data.Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.Skills:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Articles completed / studying towards Honours degree / CIMA will be an advantage.Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.Coordinate and manage the quality of team's work, continuously monitoring compliance to quality and implementing improvements where required.Actively coach team through providing advice about subject matter, solutions, principles and processes.
