Financial Accountant

Job & Company Descriptions A leading private equity firm is seeking a detail-orientated Financial Accountant to assist their finance team for a 7-month period . The position will be focused on ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of financial data across multiple entities, and supporting the company's financial operations through thorough analysis, reconciliation, and timely processing of transactions. Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts for 12 entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Analyse monthly income statements, investigating significant variances from budget and prior year. Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts. Ensure timely recording of supplier invoices in the accounting system and manage payments according to company processes. Generate invoices and manage the invoicing process. Review and ensure accuracy of Expensify reports for timely approval. Process and manage employee reimbursements efficiently. Assist with audit requests and contribute to the preparation of financial statements. Handle ad-hoc financial tasks as needed. Qualifications & skills: BCom Accounting required 3 years experience in a similar role Ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
