Financial Accountant

Job & Company Descriptions A leading player in the telecommunications industry is currently looking for detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. You will mostly ensure the financial health and stability of the company by managing and overseeing all financial accounting activities. Duties: Manage the full financial accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and provide insights into financial performance. Manage tax compliance and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities. Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting. Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders. Qualifications & skills: BCom Accounting required 4 years experience in a similar role. Telecoms or construction industry experience is preferred.
