Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to track and report key performance indicators. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate governance requirements. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Honours Degree and completed articles are required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial accounting role within a manufacturing environment or manufacturing plant. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
