Financial Accountant

A leading manufacturer company is currently seeking a dynamic Financial Accountant to join our finance team on a permanent basis. The main focus of this position is to ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cost management, and compliance to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Duties:Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.Cost Accounting: Track and analyze manufacturing costs, providing insights to enhance cost efficiency.Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of accounts, resolving discrepancies and ensuring financial integrity.Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.System Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems and processes for greater efficiency. Qualifications & Skills:3+ years in a financial accounting role within the manufacturing sector.BCom in Accounting or Finance.
