Job DescriptionTo provide support to the business unit by applying accounting principles in monitoring, analysing and interpreting financial data, maintaining and auditing financial transactions, and providing accurate accounting information pertaining to reserves, assets and expenditures to the business unit to support business decisions.

Are you someone who can: Make provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related information by ensuring that all deadlines are met as per the Segment financial reporting calendar.Ensure accuracy, validity and completeness of:All statutory reporting (HFM: FinRep, BARep & VATRep).General ledger journal processing of Journal transactions.Balance sheet reconciliation and compilation of the suspense dashboards.Intercompany reconciliations, analysis and confirmations with various stakeholders. Loading these into HFM and addressing and resolving any queries with counterparties.Reconciliation of data from various source systems.Monthly analysis of income statement, noting all material variances and explanation thereof.Engage with various stakeholders to ensure that monthly accruals are accounted for before the general ledger closes.Process online banking transactions.Maintain the Fixed asset register.You will be an ideal candidate if you have: 2 to 3 years' experience in a finance environment.Insurance experience advantageous.You will have access to: Opportunities to network and collaborate.A challenging working environment.Opportunities to innovate.We can be a match if you are: Adaptable and curious.Analyse complex data sets.Thrive in a collaborative environment.Have a strong sense of accountability.Excel in attention to detail.Apply now if you are interested in taking the next step.
