Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading player in the manufacturing industry based in Johannesburg South and they are seeking a talented Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional looking to make an impact in a thriving company. You will be responsible for overseeing the full financial function of the organisation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the efficient management of financial operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a solid understanding of accounting principles and a proven track record in financial management. Duties: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Manage the full financial function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to enhance financial planning and control. Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes. Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications: BCom Accounting Degree. SAICA/SAIPA articles. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
