Our client is seeking a dedicated Financial Officer to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the companys finances are managed effectively and in line with fundamental financial principles.
Key Responsibilities: Asset Management: Maintain and update the asset register, ensure accurate monthly depreciation, and manage asset insurance.
Audit Support: Assist in ensuring smooth, timely audits and contribute to BBBEE compliance.
General Administration: Manage creditors, debtors, petty cash, and bank accounts; compile monthly expense reports; and handle payroll reconciliations.
Treasury Management: Oversee treasury functions and ensure effective financial operations.
Performance Reporting: Deliver monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and ad-hoc reports.
Collaboration: Support team members responsibilities during their leave periods and contribute to a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications and Experience: A tertiary qualification in Finance or related field.
35 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in MS Office and Pastel.
Strong numerical and time management skills.
Attention to detail with excellent communication abilities.
Requirements: Completed Bcom degree.
Ownership of a smart mobile phone (a non-negotiable requirement for communication purposes).
