Financial Accountant

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our client based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.Key Responsibilities:Checking of daily and monthly reports (Turnover, Stock, etc)Prepare (where required) & review all monthly reconsProcess statutory payments (PAYE, UIF, SDL)Process payments for medical aid and provident fundMeet all daily and monthly deadlinesEnsuring all deadlines adhered to by the Accounts team.Authorising & preparing (as required) journalsPreparation of flash, within given timeframesDaily release of payments & beneficiaries on Nedbank business and NedtreasuryAdministrator on Accpac/BPM/Nedbank/NedtreasuryManage a diverse teamAssist auditors and rest of the business with queriesAssist with BEE processUpskilling and motivation of staffProvide assistance to the Financial Director as and when requiredRequirementsMinimum requirements: Educational qualificationsMatric/Grade 12 is essentialBachelor of Commerce degreeSAICA (CA) Certificate will be an added advantageWork experience required3-4 years in the Accounting field with experience in reconciliations, financial reporting and financial statements, and management of staffHighly proficient in ExcelExperience in the following would be advantageous - Accpac, Forex Industry
