Our leading FMCG client is looking for a qualified accountant for their manufacturing plant in Durban.Key Responsibilities:Budget preparation & assistance with various budgetsPreparing monthly Operations ReportsManagement fees, dividends and tax calculationsCompiling month end Dreyersdal packsSundry Factory / Distribution cost monthly analysis & processingUpdating Waste, R/kg, tonnage, gainshare schedules monthlyReconciliation of Balance Sheet accountsManaging Profit Estimate FileUpdate & Completing - Distribution & African Closure Income statementsCapex - capitalising/scrapping assets, monthly depreciationCalculations, reconciling, posting HPs, update monthly HP scheduleJournal preparation and processingGeneral housekeeping and filingAny other ad hoc related duties when required.Minimum Requirements:BCom Accounting Degree2-3 years' relevant work experienceBe highly computer literate (Excel)SAP experience or knowledge would be advantageousAbility to use own initiative and work with minimum supervisionAble to work flexible working hours (overtime when/if needed)Able to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlinesConfident, independent person who is a fast learner and a team playerAssertive, logical thinker and strong relationship building skillsBe enthusiastic, positive and self-energisedAn ability to adapt to change quickly and effectively
