Financial Accountant

Our client, a dynamic and growing organization within the services industry, is seeking a detailed orientated Financial Accountant to join their team in the northern suburbs of Durban. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards. You will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, including reporting, consolidations, and audits. The ideal candidate will be a registered Chartered Accountant CA(SA) with a minimum of 1 year of post-articles experience, possessing a solid understanding of financial principles and practices. Duties: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities within the organization, ensuring accuracy and adherence to consolidation principles.Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes, including the preparation of necessary documentation and addressing auditor queries.Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
