Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Managing the financial reporting process in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
Overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable.
Providing insights and recommendations for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.
Managing tax filings, audits, and internal controls.
Collaborating with other departments to drive financial strategy and reporting.
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Mentoring and managing junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
Education: BCom in Accounting or a related field (essential).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years working experience as a Financial Accountant.
Qualification: Completed articles (essential).
Experience with advanced accounting software (e.g., SAP, Xero, or similar).
Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
