Financial Accountant

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to manage day-to-day financial activities across multiple corporate entities in different territories.
This role supports financial control and administration for an expanding international operation, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and purchase orders for the South African entity.
Manage fixed assets, stock reconciliations, and VAT submissions.
Handle monthly financial reporting for entities in South Africa, the US, and the UK.
Transfer Pricing: Implement and maintain transfer pricing protocols across related entities.
Track shared services and calculate recharges.
Outsourced Partner Management: Oversee outsourced bookkeeping for US operations and in-house bookkeeping for the UK.
Support debt collection, inventory management, and trade finance reporting.
Audit and Budgeting: Prepare for audits and contribute to budgeting for all entities.
Consolidate accounts for international reporting.
Ad Hoc Financial Tasks: Handle various financial administration requests and assist with corporate governance.
Key Skills: Proficiency in accounting practices, principles, and standards (IFRS, VAT, tax requirements).
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to manage multiple third-party and internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a medium-sized enterprise (SME).
Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and inter-company transfers.
Familiarity with the Companies Act and financial regulations in international jurisdictions.
Qualifications: Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma.
