A pioneering company at the forefront of Web 3.0, AI, and cryptocurrency is seeking a dynamic Accountant CA(SA) to join their innovative team on a permanent basis .
You will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain, AI solutions, and cryptocurrency transactions, including Bitcoin .
Duties: Manage financial reporting and compliance related to Web 3.0 technologies, cryptocurrency transactions (including Bitcoin), and blockchain-based projects.
Ensure accurate financial tracking of digital assets, including valuation, transactions, and accounting treatment of cryptocurrencies.
Implement and maintain accounting processes and controls for blockchain-based assets and AI-driven financial tools.
Work closely with the cybersecurity team to assess risks associated with digital financial transactions and safeguard company assets.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the financial performance of Web 3.0 ventures, including decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms and AI-powered financial solutions.
Assist with the tax implications of cryptocurrency and AI-related financial activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Develop and implement strategies for cryptocurrency treasury management, including Bitcoin holdings and transactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline blockchain and AI-based financial operations.
Stay updated on the latest developments in Web 3.0, AI, cryptocurrency, and cybersecurity to ensure the company is always at the forefront of the digital finance space.
Qualifications & Skills: CA(SA) qualification with a strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial management.
Experience with Web 3.0 technologies, blockchain, and cryptocurrencies (including Bitcoin).
Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and considerations related to digital asset management.
Familiarity with accounting standards and regulations pertaining to cryptocurrency and decentralized finance (DeFi).
