Job Title:  Financial AccountantLocation: Centurion Salary:  Market-Related Key professional responsible for the collection, monitoring, and analysis of financial data. Prepare accurate financial statements, forecast costs, and revenues, manage tax payments, and conduct internal audits. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and supporting the company's financial decisions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBank ReconciliationsLocal Payments: Coordinate payments and payment processPetty cash reconciliation and managementReconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedulesDebtors and creditors: Journals to account for provisions and accruals where necessaryReview creditor's reconciliations and balancesMonthly Journals to reconcile balance sheet: shareholders' interest; provisions; tax; depreciation, etc.Monthly management journalsProcess and balance intergroup transactionsPreparefinancialrecordstotrialbalanceAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecastsReport on the company's actual performanceReviewfixedassetregisterandaccountfordepreciationCompilationofannualfinancialstatements Tax compliance (VAT reconciliation and payroll taxes reconciliation)Liaise with SARS regarding any tax matters Cash management: Monitor and manage cash flow as per operational requirements to ensure suppliers are paid on time and do not impede operational requirements.QualificationsBCom Financial / Management accounting (articles completed)Minimum 1-year post-article experienceSAIPA (advantageous)Knowledge of Draftworx, and EpiCor (advantageous)IFRS for SME's, income and VAT taxProficiency in Microsoft package essential(Word,Excel, email)
