Financial Accountant

My client seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to support their diverse business interests and personal financial management. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the leadership team in a fast-paced environment based in Cape Town, and gain exposure to various aspects of the property industry and startup environments.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple business entities
Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Implement and maintain effective financial controls
Provide support for tax planning and compliance
Collaborate with external auditors and financial advisors
Contribute to strategic financial decision-making
Oversee cash flow management and financial planning
Support the leadership team with ad-hoc financial analysis and projects
