Financial Accountant

Job Description:Financial AccountantLocation: Montague GardensStart Date: As soon as possibleDuties & Responsibilities:Reconciliations:Prepare reconciliations between cash/card sales and bank receipts for each store.Rental Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Property team and landlords.Compile turnover rent schedules, submit them to landlords, and enter data into accounting software.Manage refundable deposits and guarantees.Debtors Management:Invoice and reconcile Support Office debtors.Send monthly statements and follow up on payments.General Reconciliation:Reconcile the General Ledger with the Property Lease schedule.Assist with year-end financial audits.Experience, Education & Skills Required:Diploma in Accounting or a similar field.Minimum of 2 years in a financial accounting role, ideally within the retail industry.Proficiency in MS Office & Excel, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with employees, landlords, and suppliers.Ability to adapt to changing environments and quickly learn new skills.Strong problem-solving abilities with initiative and efficiency in finding solutions.
