Responsibilities: Month-end reporting: Prepare and post accruals and other month-end journals to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare monthly recharges from SA to EU region. Complete online sales reporting for SA, UK, and US. Assist with the preparation of management accounts and cash flow forecasts. Fixed Asset Register: Manage the fixed asset register, including recording additions and disposals, and calculating depreciation. Ensure fixed asset transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with accounting standards. Tax compliance: Calculate and reconcile SA VAT (Value Added Tax) for reporting periods, including the preparation and submission of VAT201 returns. Prepare and submit EMP201 (Employer Monthly Declaration) to SARS. Prepare VAT submissions for France and Netherlands. Payroll: Prepare payroll journals for month-end reporting. Credit Card Reconciliation: Prepare monthly credit card reconciliations. Suppliers: Oversee accounting transactions related to raw materials purchase and sales. Accurate accounting of all operations-related suppliers. Matching of supplier accounts. Capturing expense claims. Prepare monthly supplier reconciliations. Coordinate payments and payment processes. Balance Sheet: Reconcile balance sheet accounts for SA and EU entities. Complete timely and accurate stock reconciliations for SA and EU entities. Prepare monthly balance sheets. Audit: Assist with audit preparation and provide support during audit engagements. Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Requirements: BCom Financial / Management accounting. SAIPA (advantageous). Knowledge of Sage (advantageous). IFRS for SME's, income and VAT tax. Proficiency in Microsoft packages essential (Word, Excel, email).
