Job Description:Financial RecordkeepingAccounts Payable and ReceivableInventory ManagementFinancial Analysis and ReportingCost AccountingFinancial ComplianceDaily accounting transactions (e.g. debtor and supplier invoice processing, cash book processing and reconciliation, load and authorisation of payments, etc.)Review cash flow forecast on a frequent basisMonthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accountsMonthly debtor statements processing and follow up on long overdue debtorsPreparation of monthly management accountsAssist with annual audit preparationEnsure all tax returns are submitted and paid on time and communicate with SARS regarding queriesReview the Payroll administrator's work and ensure the Payroll is accurate, up to date and comply with all relevant laws and regulationsEnsure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, such as the Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act IFRS for SMEs, Companies Act, Income Tax Act etcAttend to all secretarial work and ensure submissions are made on time and all relevant resolutions and minutes are prepared and up to dateMaintain the fixed asset registerMaintain the insurance policyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldRegistered as a SAIPA Professional Accountant (SA) or Associate General Accountant AGA (SA)Minimum of 3 to 4 years of practical work experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the manufacturing industryIn-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation lawsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to non-financial stakeholdersStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and engineeringProficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong ethical standards and integrity, with a commitment to upholding the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality in financial matters
