Job Description:As the Financial Accountant, your duties and responsibilities may include the following:Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statementsRecord, reconcile and analyze financial transactionsMaintain and manage the general ledgerAssist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecastsAnalyze variances between actual performance and budgeted figuresConduct financial analysis to support decision makingDevelop, implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assetsEnsure accuracy of financial recordsEnsure compliance with various statutory regulationsCapture debtors paymentsFollow up on outstanding paymentsPerform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivableCollaborate operationally with other departments to provide financial insightsMaintain accurate and organized financial records Skills & Experience: Proficiency in PastelNetSuite experience would be advantageousExcellent communication skillsOperational mindset Qualification:Relevant finance or accounting degreeCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
