This role has AMAZING room for career growth.Cape Town | Permanent | On-site | R25k-R30kPRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESBank ReconciliationsLocal Payments: Coordinate payments and payment processPetty cash reconciliation and managementReconcile balance sheet accounts to supporting schedulesDebtors and creditors: Journals to account for provisions and accruals where necessaryReview creditors reconciliations and balancesMonthly Journals to reconcile balance sheet: shareholders' interest; provisions; tax; depreciation, etc.Monthly management journalsProcess and balance intergroup transactionsPrepare financial records to trial balanceAssist in the preparation of budgets and forecastsReport on the company's actual performanceReview fixed asset register and account for depreciationCompilation of annual financial statementsTax compliance (VAT reconciliation and payroll taxes reconciliation)Liaise with SARS regarding any tax mattersCash management: Monitor and manage cash flow as per operational requirements to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner and not impede operational requirementsREQUIREMENTSBCom Financial / Management accounting (articles completed)Minimum 1 year post article experienceSAIPA (advantageous)Knowledge of draftworx, EpiCor (advantageous)IFRS for SME's, income and VAT taxProficiency in Microsoft packages essential (Word, Excel, email)
