Financial Accountant (Hospitality)

Job Description:The Financial Accountant will oversee the financial operations of the hotel, ensuring accurate records, reporting, and compliance with policies.
Responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, managing audits, and supervising accounting staff.
The role involves close collaboration with finance and operations teams to optimize hotel performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain financial controls.Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.Prepare monthly and weekly financial reports.Oversee the year-end audit process.Manage and develop the accounting team.Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.Requirements:2-4 years' experience in financial accounting, ideally in the hospitality industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office, ACCPAC, VIP Payroll, and NEBULA (advantageous).Strong leadership, self-motivation, and commercial acumen.Minimum: Matric (Grade 12); additional qualifications are a plus.Valid RSA ID.
