Financial AccountantDiverse group of Companies requires an experienced Financial Accountant.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCore responsibilities:Ensure that accounts are audit ready every month.Review accounting data capture, creditors recons & payments.Individual balance sheet recons & account packs (there are about 30 packs the team preps).Consolidated management accounts preparation.Facilitate annual audits & AFS.Supplementary financial reporting for shareholders.Investment analysis & tracking.Monthly statutory return submissions.Attend to SARS reviews on VAT and PAYE submissions.Facilitate information required for SARS audits on income tax.Income tax computations to send to tax practitioners (Company, Trusts, Individual taxation).Desired Experience & QualificationMUST HAVE Completed articles.Mature and stable.Analytical with good commercial acumen.Technically minded/process driven.Organised with good time management.Requirements5-10 years post articles experience.Advanced excel – formulas.Some experience with tax.Package & RemunerationHR Services, Recruitment & Selection.
