Financial Accountant/Controller

Job & Company Descriptions A global leader in the import and export of various products is currently looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to permanently join their finance team. This role involves managing financial consolidations and reconciliations for international entities to ensure accurate reporting and compliance within a dynamic global trade environment. Duties: Prepare and consolidate financial statements for multiple international entities in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to deadlines. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment and transparency across the organization. Qualifications & skills: BCom Accounting required Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role. Strong understanding of consolidations, reconciliations, and financial reporting for international entities.
