Duties & Responsibilities This role reports to the Financial Manager - Logistics.Responsibilities:Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Assist in coordinating and preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and scenario planning. Track actual vs. budget costs and provide analysis on variances.Process Improvement and Internal Controls: Recommend and implement financial processes and improvement measures. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.Reporting and Decision Support: Continuously improve Franchise Network reporting through automation and building financial models. Engage with stakeholders, including Franchise Network, for project initiatives, cost analysis, and SOP implementation.Month-end Reporting: Prepare month-end reports, including delivery cost and revenue calculations. Investigate and report on variances, performance indicators, trends, and financial ratios.Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Review and reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts.Inventory and Asset Management: Manage internal purchases, sales operating stock, and assets provided to Franchisees and owned network facilities.Expense Management: Allocate expenses and manage cost center approvals and tracking of purchase orders.Team Management: Supervise and manage junior staff.Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist senior management with ad hoc tasks as required.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting/Finance, specialization in Logistics, is desirable.CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is advantageous.Preference will be given to candidates with 1-3 years of experience in a retail/logistics setting.Strong Academic RecordsProficiency in Advanced Excel and Google Sheets If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
