Job Title: Financial Accountant / Bookkeeper Vacancy Date: 21 October 2024 Location: Bryanston / North riding, Johannesburg About the Position Requirements: Relevant Finance Qualification 5 to 8 years of solid experience working as a Financial Accountant or Bookkeeper Payroll Experience is ESSENTIAL Sage Evolution Experience is ESSENTIAL Must have a valid driver's licence (own transport advised) Must be willing to travel if required Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Personal Attributes: Reliable, Ethical, Confidentiality driven, Motivated, Honest, Passionate Valid RSA ID Duties / Responsibilities: Management of accounts Financial reporting (monthly and annual) to CEO and Board Level Managing Creditors, Debtors, Reconciliations, and Cash Management Oversee Financial Policies, Procedures, and Internal Controls Cash Flow forecasting Handling Payroll when necessary for the entire staff complement Statutory submissions Conducting Year End Audits Preparation and oversight of Annual Budgets As the Financial Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will be expected to lead finance independently with minimal supervision.
You should be commercially astute with strong leadership skills.
