Financial AccountantOur client, one of South Africa's FMCG favourites, is looking for a Financial Accountant for an 8-month contract position at their office in Pinetown.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Performance Areas:Review of supporting documents and releasing of online paymentsAssisting with preparation of the interim and year-end financial statementsAssisting with preparation of supporting workings to the financial statement processAssisting with technical research - IFRS mattersAssisting with the IFRS 9 workingsAssisting with the IFRS 16 workingsAssisting with preparation of banking covenant calculationsAssisting with Investor relation queriesProvide support to the group treasury functionDesired Experience & QualificationRequirements:CA (SA)Immediately available2 years' post-Articles experienceArticles completed at a Big 4 FirmProven technical knowledge of IFRSProficiency in SAP & MS OfficeHigh stress tolerance & ability to work efficiently under pressureStrong analytical & reporting capabilitiesQuality-oriented & self-driven to achieve results
