Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract)

Requirements: A Honours Degree in Accounting or ComparableCA (SA) qualification (Advantageous)A Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar roleArticles at Big 4 firms (Advantageous)Responsibilities: Management of month-end and quarter-end closing, along with reporting to HQManagement of external quarterly reviews and auditsAssist with the preparation of the quarterly audit packsAnnual, quarterly and monthly forecastingMonthly financial and management reportingReview of Service department's monthly vendor reconciliations and submit payment for releaseManagement and enforcement of internal controls and compliance with company policiesReview and approval of NERP submissions in accordance with IFRS standardsEstablishing and maintaining good working relations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure queries are timeously addressedAddressing internal and HQ requests on a timely basisReporting and clearing of open items on a timely basis on SAP and on statementsProcessing and submission of service stock invoicesMonth-end Accruals (Service department)Consolidation and submission of outstanding listAd hoc internal and external reportingAd hoc requests
