Financial Accountant (6-Month Contract)

Requirements: A Honours Degree in Accounting or Comparable CA (SA) qualification (Advantageous) A Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar role Articles at Big 4 firms (Advantageous) Responsibilities: Management of month-end and quarter-end closing, along with reporting to HQ Management of external quarterly reviews and audits Assist with the preparation of the quarterly audit packs Annual, quarterly and monthly forecasting Monthly financial and management reporting Review of Service department's monthly vendor reconciliations and submit payment for release Management and enforcement of internal controls and compliance with company policies Review and approval of NERP submissions in accordance with IFRS standards Establishing and maintaining good working relations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure queries are timeously addressed Addressing internal and HQ requests on a timely basis Reporting and clearing of open items on a timely basis on SAP and on statements Processing and submission of service stock invoices Month-end Accruals (Service department) Consolidation and submission of outstanding list Ad hoc internal and external reporting Ad hoc requests
