Financial Accountant (4 Month Contract)

Key Responsibilities
Oversee month-end deliverables, including bondereaux preparation, journal postings, reconciliations, and distribution of management accounts.
Ensure accurate accounting for credit control, commissions, and claims while addressing ad hoc queries and supporting budget and forecast cycles.
Perform detailed financial reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, underwriter) and maintain system accuracy.
Assist with internal and external audits, identifying control weaknesses, and implementing process improvements.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar (preferred).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Minimum of 5 years of post-graduation experience; experience with MS GreatPlains and GRID is advantageous.
