The Financial Accountant will be required to work alongside the Finance Manager and assist with managing finance functions and ensure all reporting requirements and any ad-hoc projects and reporting, which fall within the scope of the financial department. The role includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Monthly VAT preparation and 1st review.Monthly CIT preparation and 1st review.General ledger account reconciliations (including sub-ledger).Preparation of management accounts.Assist with SAP testing scenarios, cost center set ups and statistical key allocations.Prepare monthly IC recharge and service fee schedules for approval and issue relevant invoices.Assist with annual statutory requirements (assist auditors and prepare draft financial statements).Assist with coordinating international for Moz entities.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum B.Com in Financial AccountingMembership to a professional accounting body is an advantage.WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:More than 3 years relevant experienceExperience with Sage 300, SAP Business One or SAP S/4HANAPossess excellent excel capabilities.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and write Portuguese is an advantage.High level of attention detail, in a fast-moving environment.Take initiative in resolving issues in a structured methodical manner.How to apply:
