Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the Finance System Administrator provides maintenance and support to the financial software applications and processes that supports Super Group's key financial processes and controls. The purpose of FSA is to automate, enforce and enhance efficiencies of these processes. They will accomplish these goals by partnering with our various Finance Departments globally as well as our internal Development teams & Software partners to understand their needs and bring that to life. The Finance Systems Administrator is responsible for the operational administration of the software applications that support all Finance functions, including but not limited to MS Dynamics Nav/Business Central, FloQast, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1/Cognos), ADP and Workiva.
Duties include, but not limited to: Collaboration between the IT and Finance departments as well as third parties to complete both daily responsibilities and project related workMaintain daily financial systems and implement system changes. Examples of these would be, but not limited to maintenance of GL structures, system refresh of reporting data, month end system closure procedures.Updating and maintaining alignment of trial balance, dimensions and posting groups across the group.Mapping of dimensions in TM1Monthly and quarterly checksAssisting the Reporting Team with monthly reportsServe as a department contact for system issues and queriesTroubleshoot systems issues as necessary and escalate items appropriatelyCoordinate, test, assess, and assist in the deployment of new functions and features for Finance applications.Assist and support the Finance team with monthly close processes/procedures; prioritize requests that support the reconciliation, facilitate ad hoc reports, etc.Identify and provide new technologies and enhancements that streamline processes and promote process efficienciesDevelop and maintain user procedure documentationPrioritize, coordinate, and organize work to meet deadlinesPerform other duties as assignedEssential Criteria: 2-3 years of experience in a systems administrator or business role ideally with a finance focus.Ability for strategic thinking, with robust creative problem solving and inquisitive skills.Able to train financial application users on new tools and changes to existing tools.Business Administration/Accounting or related qualification.Desirable Criteria: Hands-on experience with business and financial software preferred.
